📝 Summary
A restaurant that’s “somewhat famous” for its awards in the “50 Top Pizza” competition, but it was a total letdown.
The food was cold, not because it had lost its heat, but because it hadn’t been reheated enough. We had to ask them to reheat two of the three dishes because they were cold, and when we asked, it took about 10–15 minutes for them to bring them back. So, the meal dragged on, and we spent the whole time waiting.
On top of that, the waitress said “we’ll heat up another slice”, when they’d lost track of one of the dishes we’d sent back to be reheated. This shows that the dishes are cooked in advance, stored in the fridge, and reheated before being served at the table.
Therefore, I don’t think this is acceptable for a restaurant, since you’d at least expect a restaurant to serve you food that’s freshly made.
🍴 Food
The food tasted good and looked amazing on the outside, but as I mentioned earlier, everything was cold, and you could tell it had been cooked ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Because both of the dishes to reheated were warm on the outside and cold (really cold) on the inside. That’s what usually happens with the microwave.
- Parmigiana di Melanzane 16€
“La parmigiana di melanzane made from the family recipe: layers of fried eggplant, tomato sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano, and smoked provola.”
One of the most classic Italian dishes—you won’t want to miss it.
The dish was good, but in our case, it was hot on the outside and very cold on the inside. We had to ask them to heat it up so we could eat it. They told us they “serve it warm,” but that wasn’t warm.

- La Pasta al Forno 17.9€
“Rigatoni (short pasta) baked with our slow-cooked Neapolitan ragù made with meat and tomatoes, fried meatballs, Grana Padano, smoked provola, and pieces of hard-boiled egg. For this dish, we use dry durum wheat pasta.”
The pasta was good and reminded me of the classic macaroni and sausage dish our mothers used to make, but it wasn’t anything special either.
Plus, in our case, this was another dish that was hot on the outside but super cold on the inside. So we had to ask them to heat it up for us.

- Pizza Mortadella, Burrata e Pomodori secchi 17.9€
“Mozzarella, Bologna mortadella, Apulian burrata, organic tomatoes, arugula, black pepper, organic extra virgin olive oil, and basil.”
The pizza was really good. It was the one that caught our attention the most. But this one was lukewarm, too. You have to eat it quickly so it doesn’t get cold and lose some of its flavor.

🍷 Drinks
The selection of beverages is as follows:
- Water 2.9€
- Soft drinks 3.8€
- Italian beers 3.8 – 4.5€
- Tinto de verano 4.5€
- Aperol Spritz 6.5€
We thought the price was reasonable, considering that the beers were Italian.

💶 Price
💰 30-50€
- In our case, it came to about 30€ per person for two people, including one appetizer and two main courses to share, plus one drink per person.
- If you prefer to have an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, and a drink, it would be approximately 45€ per person, depending on what you order.
👥 Staff
The waitresses were generally nice and understood that the food was cold; they didn’t make a fuss about taking the plates to be reheated.
But the head waitress was very rude and kept arguing with us that they hadn’t lost one of our dishes. Eventually, we managed to get her to listen to us by pointing out which waitress had taken our plates. After acknowledging the mistake, the woman didn’t speak to us again or even look our way. There was no way to get her attention to find out what was going to happen with our missing dish. That’s another attitude that doesn’t seem normal to me either.
📍Place
The restaurant was average, nothing to write home about. There are two areas with slightly different styles: one is a bit more rustic, with exposed brick walls, and the other is more polished.
The only thing worth noting is that it’s a bit noisy and there are stairs at the entrance, which makes it difficult to get in and out.

⏳ Time
Your reservation allows for 1 hour and 30 minutes at the table.
In our case, we managed to stay within that time frame despite all the hiccups, but we didn’t stay for dessert and didn’t linger at the table either.
