💡  Tips
There are 2 queues to enter, one for security and one to buy tickets, but if you have bought the ticket online, you will go faster as you can skip one of the queues.
The entrance through “Grande Piramide” usually has more queue, it is better to enter through “Carrousel du Louvre” (rue Rivoli 99).
If you do not want to enter the museum, I recommend walking along the esplanade in front of the museum and contemplate the “Grand Pyramide” of glass.

Place du Carrousel & Pyramide du Louvre

f you do not want or do not have time to visit the Louvre Museum, I recommend walking along the esplanade in front of the museum and contemplate the building from the outside and the “Grande Pyramide” of glass and the small ones on the sides.

Also, at the bottom there is a shopping mall.

Jardin des Tuileries ♦️

This 28 Ha park is the main axis of Paris, connecting the Musée du Louvre with the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. It has large garden esplanades, wide promenades and ponds where you can find metal chairs to sit and watch the toy sailboats sailing.
The park belongs to the area of the banks of the Seine considered World Heritage by Unesco.

Place de la Concorde ♦️️

In the center of the square is a pink granite obelisk that is 3,300 years old, as it was a gift from Egypt in 1831.

Colonnes de Buren – Les Deux Plateaux ♦️

The square has 260 columns with black and white vertical stripes.

Jardin du Palais Royal ♦️

A quiet garden in which to stroll and sit on benches or chairs.

Forum des Halles

It was formerly the city’s main food market.
Between 2011 and 2016, the market was renovated, rebuilding the exterior and creating a gold-colored translucent canopy.
It has been transformed into a shopping mall with stores, restaurants, cinemas, swimming pool and more entertainment venues.
🍴 It’s a good place to find a restaurant to stop by.
